Colorado Camping Wedding - Camp Santa Maria - Gen + Quinn

Camping weddings are kind of the shit you guys. The air, the trees, the breeze, the feeling of freedom without the city noise is pretty freeing and jouful.

When Gen + Quinn contacted me about their wedding I was that little girl crossing her fingers hoping I would get the opportunity to photography their wedding. Thank…freakin’…goodness they hired me. When I met them and their dog Boof, I felt like I was at home. I felt like we were pals. Couples that you feel like are friends in one single moment really do make my heart explode & make this fun job even more fun that it already is.

Gen & Quinn are such kind people that their wedding day at Camp Santa Maria was so easy to photograph. The only stupid thing that happened was me wearing the wrong dang pants. I pulled those suckers up like every 2.5 seconds. I’m so sure of it that all the wedding party was making fun of me. I was making fun of myself. Bah ha ha ha!! I didn’t mean to make a scene but, note to self, throw those pants away you fool! Thank you to the wedding party for laughing with me and not laughing at me.

Anyway, Gen + Quinn’s ceremony site was so pretty with a great view of the mountains in the background. Their portraits had a canoe and thankfully Quinn killed it with no paddle. Their awesome puppers, Boof, got to join the show too. Always bring your pet if you can. A little puppy pet goes a long way.

Please world, have there be more camping weddings, they are the bomb diggity .:-)
