The mountains in Colorado have so many beautiful and unique locations. This was my first time in Salida and I really can’t wait to go back.
Hannah and Brian started with getting ready at Amigo Motor Lodge, which has the best hipster art pieces, rooms & design. I wish I had the sense of style the owners have for this place, it’s what dreams are made of. The lodge really fit Hannah & Brian’s style, so photos came easy.
Their ceremony and reception took place at Hutchinson Ranch. Hannah put her dress on in an Airstream, which is pretty awesome! We were able to take some cool portraits of her in there as well.
The landscape the ceremony took place on was gorgeous! In an open field, you could see the mountains of the Collegiate peaks. Brian made a really cool wood framing at their altar, which was perfect for the rustic feel of their wedding. During the ceremony, instead of a unity Hannah & Brian did a soundscape. We listened to the air, the breeze, the birds, the trees, it was one of the most beautiful moments in a wedding I’ve experienced. Oh and they brought their pup, Lyra. She was so sweet and well behaved!
The most favorite part of the day was Hannah & Brian’s portraits. You really couldn’t have asked for a better landscape or cloudy sky. You’ll have to see for yourself instead of my trying to describe them. 🙂
Their reception & dancing was super fun too! I’ve never seen a dance floor that full all night long before.
