lost gulch overlook engagement – megan + ty

First thing here is, never cancel a session because of weather in Colorado. Not only was I driving through torrential down pours through Denver, but as I was driving up Flagstaff to Lost Gulch Overlook, it hailed twice for several minutes. At one point I had to stop so my car wouldn’t get damaged. The bonus after the hail stopped was a beyond gorgeous rainbow. Like a full rainbow you could see from one send to the other, in brightest colors I’ve seen. Honestly it was one of the rainbows that I didn’t get get my camera out to take a photo. Sometimes you just have to enjoy things as they are, that your memory will straight up never forget.

When I met up with Megan & Ty at Lost Gulch Overlook, it was on it’s second round of hailing, so we had to wait for in our cars for a bit. Once the hail and rain stopped, you guys, it was so gorgeous! The sky, a stunning navy blue and fog on the ground that made your jaw drop. When the sun came out I can’t even describe to you how much in awe we were. Just check out the photos a few down, you’re going to love how the sun hits their faces and makes the scene absolutely perfect.

Megan & Ty, were are total blast. We laughed, got to know each other a little more and really just had a a great time wandering around. I can’t wait for their wedding this fall!
