Nova Guides – Vail Mountaintop Engagement – Chris + Jenn

I responded to a request to shoot a secret proposal near Vail, CO. Because why not, right? 8 minutes later I get a phone call from Chris. He gave me all the details for his amazing mountaintop proposal. I’m am down for this amazing experience!

Two days before, a huge storm is about to hit the mountains. We are mentally freaking out, but have confidence everything is going to time out perfectly.

The roads were tough with a brief tunnel closure on the 3 hour drive to meet Chris & Jenn, but I made it.

Chris and I gave a quick glance at each other, not to give away anything. Our guide Patrick got us on our way through an incredibly, beautiful, snowy landscape.

As the snow took a break from falling, we got to the top of the mountain. Huffing and puffing our way through the thin air, we found the perfect spot for the proposal and gave Chris the go ahead.

Chris quickly got down on one knee. With such a big smile on her face she said YES!!
