When Kat & TJ reached out to me and told me that they attended a wedding last year I photographed and they wanted me to photograph their wedding I felt so incredibly humbled. When others see how hard photographers work in addition to how much fun we have with other couples it shows that people are paying attention and value our never ending energy to get that perfect shot. Granted the wedding they attended last year was out of this world gorgeous, it’s not tough to go and go like the energizer bunny.
For Kat & TJ’s wedding the heat hard during their Memorial weekend wedding. The foothills heat reflected off the rocks and there was hardly a cloud in the sky. Kat & TJ, and their amazing friends and family really didn’t seem too bothered by it during their ceremony. Laughter and tears and joy were all around. They even had bagpipes!! First time bagpipe for any wedding on my end, so cool!
Willow Ridge Manor is a gorgeous venue tucked within the red rocks in Morrison, CO. The grounds are kept beautifully and the space is perfectly laid out for any type of wedding. The decor is elegant and simple, being able to decorate simply or extravagant. Kat & TJ’s decor was perfectly simple. She even bought all her flowers from the grocery store and made her own bouquets!! You gotta check them out, their gorgeous!!
I had such a blast during Kat & TJ’s portraits. It so cool when you connect with two people and have this odd freedom to be yourself. I remember I made a joke, completely by accident, of which was also kind of dirty and they lost it. You’ll see the laughter in the photos, however I can’t remember for the life of what the heck I said. Thank goodness for stupid jokes!
Thank you Kat & TJ for having be part of such a fun & simply gorgeous wedding. Congrats again!
